The product ORSOFT MDW is modularly built. The technical infrastructure with workflow architecture, user management, message-concept and analysis functionality works independently from the master data modules. Therefore, a user can model any kind of business process and implement it with ORSOFT MDW. The handling of the software will be completely identical to modelling master data workflows.
The screenshot below illustrates an example process. The main function of the process is not to maintain some master data but to support all involved persons in executing the work procedure in the right way without leaving out any detail that might be important. The synchronization functions to SAP are deactivated from master data independent workflows. Relevant processing data and step validation information (e.g. attached documents) can be managed and saved locally in these kind of workflows.
In the second example, a simple iterative process is shown. The development process sequentially passes through the phases Initialization, Draft, Construction and Test before it finally arrives in the Production phase. As long as the tests fail the requirements, the sequence starts over again in the second step. Like in the example above, within this workflow there are no meeting points with the theme SAP master data.
